Alessandro Sordi

Alessandro earned in 1992 his joint degree in Architecture with magna cum laude, studying between the University of Florence and the Darmstadt Technische Universitat.

Dada co-founder, he was the company VP from 1994 to 2010, Managing Director from 1995 to 2005, Business Manager from 2005 to 2008 and Advertising Director from 2008 to 2011. He was also founder of Simply.com and Chairman of some of the companies supervised by Dada, such as: Softec, PlanetCom, The Netgate, LCD, AdMaiora. He was then Register.it Spa President, one of the major Internet companies for domain registration and hosting services in Europe.

He has been rewarded by many prestigious institutions for his outstanding entrepreneurial contribution: Fiorino d’Oro, conferred by the City of Florence in 2000, Sole24Ore WWW Award in 2001, Gonfalone d’Argento, conferred by the Tuscan Region in 2008.

When Dada was acquired by RCS Group in 2011, Alessandro resigned from all of his positions.

He was on Audiweb (National Authority for web traffic certification) Board of Directors from its foundation to 2006 and on Fedoweb (National Digital Publisher Association) Board of Directors too. He was member of the Florence Industrial Association and of the Business Technology and Innovation Council.

He gave speeches at many events and conferences, forums and commencement ceremonies both nationals and internationals such as SDA Bocconi, Politecnico of Milan, Sant’Anna of Pisa, Normale of Pisa, OME Madrid, AdTech London, AdTech New York. He is a contributor for many blogs and magazines focusing on innovation.

Today he is Nana Bianca co-founder, the Italian digital startup accelerator with more than 20 projects world wide, together with lifetime friends Paolo and Jacopo.
