Dan Wagner is Chief Executive Officer of Powa Technologies. His latest market leading e-commerce company Powa is changing buying behaviour with a suite of commerce technologies, recently received a record $96.7 million Series A investment, and is now emerging as a major player in the industry.
The business includes PowaPOS, which is the cleverest and most cost-effective mobile commerce tool yet, transforming any smartphone into a mobile cash till. A lightweight device communicates with a mobile phone via Bluetooth, accepting all major debit and credit cards, across all platforms, on any network.
Most recently, PowaTag is revolutionising the way consumers can shop by allowing products to be purchased whether in a print ad, on TV or simply by looking at a physical item.
Last year, Powa Technologies announced it is working with First National Bank in South Africa to introduce a new mobile payment device to the bank’s merchant services’ offering. In addition to this, Portugal Telecom Group and Powa have established a partnership to bring mobile payment services to the small businesses.
