Senior Partner of The European House – Ambrosetti since 1999, and Managing Partner since 2005.
He is also Director of the Ambrosetti Group Limited, London.
From 1992 he has been responsible for organizing and coordinating The European House – Ambrosetti Forum, “Intelligence on the World, on Europe, on Italy”, held each year in September at the Villa d’Este in Cernobbio.
He is also the Senior Partner of reference for Scenarios practice.
He has a degree in Business and Economics from the Università Luigi Bocconi in Milan.
He joined The European House – Ambrosetti first as the assistant to Alfredo Ambrosetti, then as part of their consulting services. His project areas include top management, strategy, internationalization and human resources development for large- and medium-sized companies and institutions. He has founded and managed numerous advisory boards.
He was the head of the International Division from 1995 to 2000 and, in this capacity, managed The European House – Ambrosetti activities in Europe, Japan and the United States.
He was in charge of the 2004 Bilderberg meeting in Italy.
He is, and was , a member of the executive committees and the boards of directors of numerous companies.
He also gives courses on strategy and governance systems for businesses, associations and universities.
His previous work experience includes financial analysis in the corporate finance department of Paribas, Amsterdam, for one of Milan’s top foreign exchange agents, Belloni & Tedeschi, and the research office of the Banca Popolare di Luino e Varese.
He is author of the book “Verso l’eccellenza. I Consigli di Amministrazione: uno strumento per un efficace sistema di governo societario. Proposte e indicazioni”, published by Sperling & Kupfer in May 2005 and of the book “I riferimenti fondamentali della gestione strategica – I paradigmi del sistema impresa”, published by IPSOA in January 2009.
